DAY 1
MOUNTAIN OF THE DEAD
Find your way through a labyrinth of Greek / Roman tombs carved out of the mountain. Some graves still have original hieroglyphic inscriptions.
SHALI FORTRESS
Explore the ruins of Shali, Siwa's historic heart and center completely made from salt and mud. Visit the local documentation museum and climb to the top to admire amazing views of the oasis.
SIWA HOUSE MUSEUM
Visit this small, authentic museum to learn about Siwa’s unique culture and traditions. Artifacts in a rstored home, tell the story of the daily lives of its people.
GARDEN VISIT LUNCH
Enjoy a refreshing fresh juice or a locally made lunch right in the middle of a peaceful palm tree garden. The perfect spot to relax.
DESERT SAFARI
An exciting way to explore the vast dunes and ancient landscapes of the Sahara desert. The desert trip is led by an expert local Siwi guide who knows the desert like the palm of his hand.
DINNER & HOTSPRING
Enjoy a traditional dinner at a cozy hot spring camp at the famous Dakrur Mountain. After your meal, relax in the natural hot spring. With some luck, get to experience a real Siwan party with traditional songs and music.
DAY 2
ORACLE TEMPLE
Visit to the Oracle Temple, Siwa's greatest histocial treasure. Once a powerful center of prophecy, attracting the world's most important leaders like Alexander the Great in search of answers from the gods.
RUINS OF UM UBEYDA
Partially collapsed, its remaining wall offers a rare glimpse into Siwa’s funerary rituals in the past. Once one of the largest temples of Siwa.
SALT LAKES
Shimmering white landscapes and azure blue waters. The famous salt lakes are the perfect spot to practice floating while enjoying the surrounding beauty.
DAKROUR MOUNTAIN
A short climb up Dakrour Mountain rewards you with stunning views and brings you to the site of Siwa’s famous annual Sufi cultural celebration, a festival of unity, tradition, and spirituality.
CLEOPATRA SPRING / HOTSPRING
A refreshing moment at Siwa's most famous natural spring. Enjoy the home made juices or a freshly prepared lunch.
DOWNTOWN VISIT
A moment to immerse in the buzzing daily life of the oasis. Take the opportunity to buy locally farmed dates, first cass olive oil and find your souvenirs, handmade by the local women.
SUNSET & DINNER
Watch an unforgettable sunset over Siwa’s enormous lake, lush green gardens and extense desert. Enjoy some of Siwa's best flavors in a truly magical setting.
