GREAT SAND SEA DESERT SAFARI & DINNER
The desert trip is led by an expert local Siwi guide who knows the desert like the palm of his hand. Pick up in the morning by a comfortable 4x4 landcruiser. Get inspired along the way of the beautiful scenary of a sea full of sand and search for ancient fossils, as this desert was once a vast prehistoric ocean.
Enjoy a freshly made lunch cooked over a campfire, and pass by a refreshing desert lake, perfect for a swim. Try your luck with sandboarding before watchingone of the most memorable sunsets.
As night falls, gather around the campfire for stargazing, while the famous abu mardam, an authentic dish cooked in the sand will be prepared.

Relax in Cleopatra's spring, the most famous natural water spring of the oasis mentioned even by Herodutus. Enjoy home made juices and delicious lunch.
ORACLE TEMPLE
Visit to the ancient Oracle Temple, Siwa's greatest historical treasure. Walk in the footsteps of and Alexander the Great who consulted its divine powers.
RUINS OF UM UBEYDA
Wander through the ruins of once a great funerary temple. Original colorations are still visible on the standing wall.
SUNSET & DINNER

day 3 - WEST
MOUNTAIN OF THE DEAD
Over 2000 tombs carved in one single mountain. Some graves still have their original decorations narrating stories which date back to 600 BC.
BALAD EL RUM
Explore the archaeological burial site of Balad El Rum, featuring rock-cut tombs and the possible remnants of the only trace of Christianity in the oasis.
VISIT TO LOCAL DATE FARM
Visit a local date farm and learn how this sweet local treasure is grown. Enjoy a traditional Siwan tea ceremony and taste the different types of dates.
ECO LODGE
